Rapping Nurse from QC Meet Fatima Palma, The Rapping Nurse of East Avenue Medical Center.
In East Avenue Medical Center in Quezon City, 27-year-old nurse Fatima Palma is known as the “rapping nurse.” On the video originally uploaded on Facebook by Daff Marqueses, nurse Palma raps and sings with the family member of a patient to entertain the latter. Marqueses is thanked Nurse Palma “for taking care” of her father and “entertaining him (the father) while he was in the hospital and still alive.” She also added, “His life in the hospital was really painful but with nurses like you, eased the pain for a bit even to us (patient’s families and friends). You rock nurse Fatima!”
