Magnitude 6.1 earthquake hit Indonesia

Breaking News: Magnitude 6.1 earthquake rocks Indonesia on Tuesday, February 4, 2014. Strong earthquake strikes 7:36 am, 318 kilometers (197 miles) east-northeast of the East Timor capital Dili in the Banda Sea at a depth of 18 kilometers, the US Geological Survey said. Indonesia officials now assessing the situations and damages. No reports of casualties or no one died as of this report.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center did not issue any alerts following the tremor in the remote region at the eastern end of the Indonesian archipelago between East Timor and the Maluku islands.
