PAG-ASA said once the LPA will become typhoon it will be named "Agaton". The LPA was already came from Mindanao province which brought flash floods and landslides that killed 24 persons. It turned around again and now its current location is Guiuan Eastern Samar and threatens Central Visayas once it will landfall. If it will stay in the water it will intensify and gain strength.
Sinulog Festival in Cebu this Sunday January 19, 2014 will face a big problem once LPA or Agaton comes. Hope it will not.
Samuel Duran from PAG-ASA said the LPA intensify into a tropical depression, it will be named “Agaton,” the first cyclone for the year 2014 that will hit the Philippines. Based upon the latest weather forecast of PAGASA posted at 5:00 AM of January 16, 2014, the LPA remains at sea, it will land anew, this time as a tropical depression.
