Classes Suspended in Manila on Tuesday August 20, 2013


Classes suspended on Tuesday, August 20 in many parts of Manila due to heavy rains and flood.
MANILA (2nd UPDATE) - Several areas will again suspend classes tomorrow as rains and floods continue to wreak havoc.
*Cavite Governor Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla said classes will again be suspended in all levels in the province on Tuesday. This was announced on his Facebook and Twitter pages.
Cavite declared a state of calamity on Monday because of incessant rains and heavy flooding. At least two residents there have been killed, while another remains missing.
*Sta. Rosa, Laguna, which is under a state of calamity, has also suspended Tuesday classes in all levels
*Paranaque has also suspended classes in all levels. Government offices are set to resume tomorrow, however.
